Kris understands the patient journey in a way few providers can, because he’s been there. As a young athlete recovering from multiple sports injuries, he learned firsthand the frustration of limitations, the discipline of rehabilitation, and the hope that comes when progress finally starts to show. Those experiences lit a fire in him: to become a Physical Therapist who could guide others through that same journey, not just with treatment plans, but with empathy and encouragement.
At Vertrae®, Kris is often the first one in the clinic, reviewing the day’s schedule and preparing with his team so that every patient is welcomed into an environment of care and respect. His calm presence and precise, attentive approach allow patients to feel both reassured and motivated. And while his techniques are grounded in years of training and experience, he believes education is just as powerful as any exercise, giving patients the tools and confidence to continue their progress long after they leave the clinic.
“I hope every patient feels valued and respected when they come through our doors,” Kris says. “That’s the standard we live up to here at Vertrae®.”
For Kris, the most rewarding moments are when a patient realizes just how far they’ve come, from small milestones like walking with less pain to life-changing victories like returning to a beloved sport or activity.
Outside the clinic, Kris enjoys time with his family, working out, tackling home projects, and relaxing with his wife. And while he’s known for his discipline, he’s also known for his love of ketchup (just not on steak) and his dream of one day mastering the acoustic guitar.
