When you meet Hannah, you quickly sense her warmth and attentiveness, the kind of presence that makes patients feel seen, heard, and genuinely cared for. She brings a quiet compassion to her work, paired with a strong sense of purpose and pride in what she does every day.
Hannah’s desire to work in healthcare began early in life, shaped by watching her mother navigate the challenges of multiple sclerosis. Seeing how much it mattered when someone took the time to truly care left a lasting impression on her. It taught her that healthcare is not just about treatment, but about connection, empathy, and showing up for people during vulnerable moments.
At Vertrae®, Hannah plays a key role throughout the surgical journey. She circulates in the operating room, supporting the surgical team to ensure each case runs smoothly and safely. Equally meaningful to her is the time she spends with patients outside the OR, helping them feel comfortable and reassured before surgery, answering questions, and guiding them through pre- and post-operative appointments and phone calls. Hannah loves meeting patients ahead of time so they recognize a familiar face on surgery day and continuing to follow their progress as they recover.
What Hannah values most about Vertrae® is the teamwork. She is proud to work alongside a group of people who are deeply dedicated to excellence, collaboration, and delivering exceptional care. For her, it’s special to be part of a place where she can stand behind not only the care she provides, but the integrity and commitment of the entire team.
Hannah’s hope for every patient is simple and heartfelt: that they feel heard. She understands how vulnerable healthcare experiences can be and is intentional about making sure patients know they matter, their concerns are valid, and their voices are respected.
Outside of work, Hannah enjoys staying active and trying new things, from hiking to exploring new restaurants with her husband, Chris. She loves spending time with family, hosting game nights with friends, and being involved in her local church. Hannah has also enjoyed coaching youth soccer in the Dayton area, especially working with middle school girls, combining her love of mentorship, teamwork, and encouragement beyond the walls of the clinic.
